Have I been over paid? Or is this correct. Confused

@thelostcoin This happened to me when I arrived in Australia and really confused me too.

Turns out they paid me for not only the time that I had already worked but also a week or two in advance (can’t remember exactly how much) which some places do over here.

@thelostcoin As a foreigner you don’t pay tax on the first 30k you earn so your take home is higher once you hit that the rate goes up significantly

@thelostcoin Do you have any hardship allowance for relocating to Australia? It's a downgrade, so they usually bake in a bit more to entice a move downunder.

@thelostcoin My first job in Australia I got paid an extra month my first month, but didn't pay my last month. Probably something similar
