@mauddib Have you tried changing the channel your modem uses for wifi? There will obviously be lots of wifi networks around since you live in an apartment and if you're sharing the same channel with lots of other people your performance will degrade.

@mauddib How come you use a wireless data Internet service in an etobicoke apartment? Can you not get cable or dsl?
