@efosa Here is an update on my post about Progressive jacking my rates up. I got new insurance from Costco for $380 for 6 months. That's $750 cheaper and I got higher coverage.
@tom960 I spent years with State Farm because my auto rates with them never really went up. When we bought a house though, their home insurance quote was more than double everyone else so we had to say goodbye. If the new company tries to raise rates we'll get more quotes and switch again.
@tom960 Jerr.ai is what I used to compare insurance rates between companies. It doesn't have companies like Root, though which is what I needed up going with but it's worth a look. Progressive was awful for me, too. I finally got on my husband's insurance through USAA.
