@makubexx I’m a first time home owner so not sure how accurate online calculators for equity are. I bought the house for 265k two years ago. Calculators estimate 300k now so about 35k in equity without accounting for selling costs.

@carolcole Take the current estimated value of the home and subtract how much you still owe on the mortgage for a general idea of how much it impacts your net worth.

@makubexx Right. It is approximately 35k positive difference.

@carolcole I wasn’t sure if the $265k had changed in two years. Makes sense though. Lot of interest up front.

@makubexx It has but not a whole lot. I think 7k into the principal. I haven’t checked in a while.
