@mellowyellow Thanks OP. I've been on the same fence except my retirement eligibility is two years before yours and I would step w a line num. for major. My household is identical to yours.

I'm stepping upon being eligible and transitioning to another job for a few years, it might be a GS to take advantage of another pension prog and matching TSP contributions.
