@bicko Tax collection growth is far greater than inflation or GDP growth. Can someone explain why everyone in comments is saying it's just due to inflation and GDP growth and just PR for government?
In FY23, inflation was 6.7%, and real GDP growth 6.9%. Combining these results, a tax increase of 12% from a year ago actually shows a reduction in tax collecting efficiency.
@redeemedtomanhood won't GDP growth calculation implicitly include inflation too? Even if we use USD to define GDP, it goes through inflation too. Also, you can't sum two different growth percentage anyways.
