I am looking into historic data in Canadian real estate. There are two parts to my question:
1. I’m wondering if there is a process by which every Canadian real estate transaction eventually becomes public knowledge?
e.g. if I went to an open house today and I put a bid on a house later that day and the closing for bids is tomorrow. Somewhere 5-10yrs from now, would that information be available in an assembled data format, including competing bids, final bid, sold price, listed price, deadline for bids, occupancy. Stuff like that.

- Where would I find this kind of information? Or at least where would I start?
