@mydogs The CRA has certified quite a few including TurboTax. Be aware that the free options sometimes come with a catch - i.e., are free only for certain income brackets or other limitations. Be aware that you can always mail your return if the electronic products drive you too far up the wall.

@meggsydoll I'm so glad I make simple income, and don't own any stocks or bonds or what have you.

I file for free with TurboTax in Ontario. Punch the numbers in, and go through the steps. Gotta give it to the costly packages though. They make it easier, streamlined, and offer help.

But turbotax!

@skyemist I would like to know this as well. I have a small business but made jack squat last year due to poor planning on my part and having to take a break from it halfway through the year. I don’t want to pay extra just to file a schedule c or whatever when I know I’m not going to owe much if anything
