Bank accounts

Hi guys, may i know which bank do you find it really good in terms of apps efficiency and whatever beneficial that you can suggest? Throughout my whole life Im only using public bank but there are so many banks available.. what are your thoughts about this? Thank you very much in advance

@domascnn I tried GX Bank because CIMB Octo is slow when it comes QR payment. GX Bank turns out to be worse because it won't even scan at all.

TnG and Maybanks MAE so far are the best IMHO, from QR payment aspect

I am ok with GX Bank QR Scan. It's the only QR scan I use nowadays

@domascnn I agree it’s good but there are lots of platforms which use FPX that somehow don’t include it in their list of supported banks yet. For example, Wise. So just something to keep in mind of.

It gives better rate than fixed deposit.

Yes, there are other investment which can give better returns, but it is not guaranteed.

Like sometimes you forgot password, call them to unlock it for you.

@plavious Yup, emergency funds are there and some savings pocket as well. Just make sure that if anyone wants to be safe, don't exceed the RM250k PIDM coverage.

@headbanger You dont understand the pidm . PIDM covers all of your deposit within 250k but PIDM is where the point the babk about to go kaput which please no lol

@lumenlight Of course I do understand PIDM, I work at the bank and most of the major banks here are also covered by PIDM up to RM250k.
