Trade Republic bank offering 4% for savings account

Hi all,

My brother in Spain told me about this broker, trade republic, which is offering 4% annual return for cash deposited in their account, no fees. They're a broker for ETFs, crypto, etc, but unfortunately unavailable for Swiss residents.

Just sharing in case you have family/friends interested.

By the way, anyone knows something like this in CH? no risk and 4% isn't that bad.

Actually, sometimes there are offers. Like for the first 10k. And for a year. Hardly worth the effort.

@bella96 That 4% return is in Euros, not CHF. You can get that return or higher in Euros by buying an ETF like the Xtracker EUR overnight rate Swap. Or a government bond from any major EU nation like France or Germany. IBKR offers around 4% for anything above 10k Euros as well.

@bella96 IkBR offer similar rates 4.83 % on USD but negative for CHF. So you can convert to dollars if u r prepared to accept currency risk.... recently the dollar actually improved Vs CHF.

It's also the best trading platform in CH very low trading fees, loads of info and reports.
