Pretty self explanatory; my neighbors are renting and a tree on their property fell onto my fence (I own the home) and I'm just wondering what the procedure going forward should be?
Will they just pay for the damage on the section of damaged fencing? Or will they be liable to replace the entire fence?
It was not due to chopping/cutting, it was from high winds that broke a rotting tree, the top half of the tree landed on our chain-link fence, and basically destroyed it.
Just looking for advice on what we can do to repair our existing fencing, or see if we can completely replace the fence. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
