Where is the best value for money in the small SUV used market? Toyota?

For me, I'm prioritizing value for € rather than speed or looks (maintenance!) so BMW X1 doesn't make the list!
  • Toyota RAV4 1.815m
  • Honda CRV 1.820m
  • VW Tiguan 1.809m
  • Nissan Juke 1.765 m
  • Nissan Qasquai 1.785 m
  • Citroen C4 1.789 m
  • Citroen C3 1.728 m
  • Fiat 500X 1.786 m
  • Dacia Duster 1.822m
  • Kia Sportage 1.855 m
  • Suzuki Vitara 1.81 m
  • Suzuki SX4 1.775 m
  • Renault Captur 1.778 m
  • Skoda Yeti 1.793 m
  • Mazda CX-5 1.84 m
  • Mitsubishi Outlander 1.800m
  • Golf Plus 1.759 m
High driving / passenger seat is a must

adjustable height of passenger seat is a huge bonus

I don't need AWD, but it's a bonus for the rare snow days

Large cargo area with flat folding seats preferred

Manual strongly preferred

Diesel prefered

I'm doing 6k miles a year average which is quite low. So I'm hoping I can get something that lasts 6 to 8 years if not more!

My budget is upto max 9500€ for a great value, already with winter tyres, no expenses to come, otherwise looking for something closer to 7000€-8000€

Here's some I'm eyeing:
  • VW Tiguan • 2009 • 159000 km • Diesel • 9 500 € - max I will go
  • RENAULT Captur I 1.5 • 2016 • 145000 km • Diesel • 8 990 €
  • Dacia Duster 1.2 • 2015 • 96000 km • Essence • 8 500 €
  • Citroën C3 • 2015 • 95516 km • Diesel • 8 290 €
  • Honda CR-V 2.2 • 2011 • 173000 km • Diesel • 8 200 €
  • Mitsubishi Outlander 4x4 156cv di-d • 2009 • 145500 km • Diesel • 7 990 €
  • Toyota Rav4 2.2 • 2007 • 100000 km • Diesel • 7 900 €
  • NISSAN Juke 1.5 dCi • 2014 • 170000 km • Diesel • 7 500 €
  • Nissan JUKE 1.6 • 2013 • 118500 km • Essence • 6 999 €
  • NISSAN Juke • 2011 • 167500 km • Diesel • 6 500 €
  • Suzuki Sx4 • 2009 • 135800 km • Diesel • 5 900 €
thanks

edit: I just realized, my current car has a width of 1.763m and I already need to be careful parking not to touch the sides of my garage. this basically removes a lot of cars from the list that are +1.8m

@spiritoffaith If you do only 6k Miles i have no idea why you chose diesel over petrol. Honda crv hybrid would be my choice. Also if something other than small SUV i would say ford c-max have plenty of room inside and have good diesel engines.

@spiritoffaith How about a VW Golf Plus? More minivan than SUV, but very spacious while having a smaller footprint than some of the SUVs you mentioned. Seating position is very high for all passengers, and it's also just a generally nice car for travelling (e.g. seatback tables in the rear).

Random ad: 2010 • 86.000km • Diesel • 7.990€

@spiritoffaith I don’t really understand why you want diesel. Do you have to go offroad or you live in an area where there you have to go up an down a lot?

For 6k miles a year i would go with a big petrol engine. Lower maintenance lower price aswel. Depending on you country tax policy be careful not to overpay tax.
Mazda CX5 2.5l petrol one of my favorites. Maybe not the lowest maintenance cost, it always feels that asian cars in europe have higher maintenance then european brands.
Also it is a fairly simple motor without turbo so chances are that it will last longer without any mechanical intervention.

Otherwise i would look at Nissan quasqai as the best all around small SUV. Both diesel and petrol engines are good and maintenance and spare parts should be the same as Renault. But still i would pick the petrol engine, just checked a few weeks ago how much does it cost to do you yearly service for one and diesel is 2x more expensive
