Some questions that come to mind…
- Would it be better to be employed by the US entity or the Australian entity? Does it matter?
- Understanding that there could be currency fluctuations, do people generally think it’s better to be paid in USD or AUD?
- Any specific terms that you’d recommend get written into the employment contract (eg Tax Equalization, Foreign Tax Preparation & Filing Services, etc.)?
- Other thoughts/ watch outs?
