Like the title says I really need help can I pick tricare back up now that I have stable income are there other insurances that are medical only that I could possibly grab my employer doesn’t provide healthcare and I really need it
@nmeckert I do not think, but double check, that you are eligible for Tricare anymore as you left the military 3 years ago. You would have had to get temporary health insurance back then when you left. Here's more info:
However, it is open enrollment until January 15/16, 2024, at healthcare.gov for a plan that will take effect February 1, 2024. You can go to healthcare.gov/see-plans to view what plans are available prior to filling out an application. You will be able to input what doctors you see, local urgent care, hospitals you use, and prescription medications you take to see if they are covered in-network under the plan you are interested in.
