International money transfer

Hello guys

I am looking to transfer some funds from India to Canada using Indian bank.
Now Canada works on swift system and Indian bank is on IFSC network.

Is anyone aware of this situation.

Swift code for Canadian bank (CIBC) is CIBCCATT

Any help would be greatly appreciated

@resjudicata Banks allow wire transfers from India... However Banks charge 7$ or 10$ in USA for this.

@resjudicata Indian Bank has perhaps been the worst bank I've ever had an account with. This was my first personal account and they required a hand-written letter to the branch manager for every goddamn thing — EVEN FOR KYC!

My friend has a DBS Digibank and it allows international transfer. Unfortunately, RBI does not allow you to transfer money for official purposes. You can, however, transfer to your friends and family, send money for education abroad and gift. There is a limit though.
