Wire, Personal v.s. Business

Title should have been individual vs business

I am waiting for a response back from TD if they ever respond back.

The recipient I am wiring money to has a business account managed by the Small Business Service center. They said that even though it's a business account it's held by an individual and told me to pick individual as the account type.

So for account type I will choose individual and not business. This person has received domestic wires before; but I am wiring from the U.S. and I am not sure if account types work the same as in Canada.

@femalove Is the business a sole prop? If that’s the case unless they’re operating under a business name you would just send the wire to their personal name maybe that’s why they said pick individual instead of business
