Which household income group yoh belong to?

@pmmg I want to say that T2 should have more breakdown, but after hearing that you just need RM25k gross to enter the top 1% I need reconsider my opinion.

@pmmg ya ikr even 15K household (at least 2 income if both work) is not easy to retire early if didn't save a lot portion of that.

and that's already like top income group of Malaysia, elite member that Gov squeeze Tax from

@pmmg It's just top 10%.

1 in 10 people will have household income >10%

Are there so many rich people?
Or T2 isn't that rich?

@kds61 This counted as household income, if you have partner is both count together ma

but yeah from what we see today family of 2 or 3 earn 5k together (already lower M40) still struggle to save extra

@smoo555 Agreed. When it comes to this type of metrics I prefer to compare with KL/Klang Valley which is more relevant/useful for me, not whole Malaysia. Because KL cost of living is higher than other states

@plentyofpaper M1 for me personally but household is T2.
We lived in a PPR with Rm500 rent but we recently moved.
We have 2 cars, bezza and X70.

My family does not believe in investing or property rentals so I am using my own income to do that.

@christheseeker my household is T2 too...higher than the benchmark by quite abit, we also drive proton only and can't afford anything higher for a c segment suv, yet so many people can afford luxury cars and you're telling me they're only 1%?
