@pmmg I want to say that T2 should have more breakdown, but after hearing that you just need RM25k gross to enter the top 1% I need reconsider my opinion.
@pmmg ya ikr even 15K household (at least 2 income if both work) is not easy to retire early if didn't save a lot portion of that.
and that's already like top income group of Malaysia, elite member that Gov squeeze Tax from
@plentyofpaper That’s never the top income. For categorisation sake only bro. The real rich, within the Top income are even scarier in their earning.
@pmmg It's just top 10%.
1 in 10 people will have household income >10%
Are there so many rich people?
Or T2 isn't that rich?
@plentyofpaper It's nice to know that I have been working for 5 years now, and I'm still a B40
@kds61 This counted as household income, if you have partner is both count together ma
but yeah from what we see today family of 2 or 3 earn 5k together (already lower M40) still struggle to save extra
@kds61 Same. Im not even near the top. Smacked in the middle more like it.
@plentyofpaper Hah… are the brackets accurate? No way I fall into T20 lol.
Household means combined right?
@inbeywetrust It should ne by state. If in KL, that not supposed to be t20
@smoo555 Agreed. When it comes to this type of metrics I prefer to compare with KL/Klang Valley which is more relevant/useful for me, not whole Malaysia. Because KL cost of living is higher than other states
