When does an accident start affecting your insurance?

I (19y/o M) had a bit of a shunt at a roundabout (went up the back of someone) in February. I’ve been driving 2 and a half years, I insured a bmw 330d last month as named driver and it was £2000 for a year, when this elapses is it likely it will be more expensive? I’ll obviously have another years driving experience but no no claims discount. Am I through the worst of it or does an accident get worst the next year.
