[Virginia] Did anyone get paid today that’s on PUA? I know a lot f us didn’t get our last payment!!

@neyimi6589 Why are you excited with explanation points? VEC has had banners before, and it took 3 weeks to two months later depending on the time frame to receive payments.

Them having no date is concerning. I'm not trying to get people down but everytime this has happened it took forever to get paid. I hope not this time.
 
@jazzy_j Ladies and gents, here's the message on their website now:

Important Update: The VEC is implementing a programming change that will allow those claimants who did not receive their PUA payment for the week ending September 4, 2021 to process tonight, September 13, 2021. Payment will only be released if the individual met all of the weekly reporting requirements.
 
You would think if there is really an IT issue they would announce that on their site. But I’m going to stay optimistic about everything because I want my last payment.
 
@jazzy_j *** Important Update: The VEC is aware of a situation concerning benefit payments covering the week ending September 4, 2021. The issue primarily concerns the PUA program. There has been a delay in issuing some of the payments to those who are under this benefit program. We are working to resolve the situation and will post another update here as additional information becomes available.

@jazzy_j Still nothing. I'm very skeptical about this IT issue, there's too many folks being dishonest and with the bordom out there its possible the fake an email. We just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best at this point.
 
@happypanda There was more than 1 email also. I do not believe that excuse but I believe thats what vec is rolling with. I believe they did put a stop payment on our accounts before the last check..their f up but they wont admit it. Now its a waiting game till it is fixed.
 
@jazzy_j Still no pending deposit on my WAY2GO card.I was supposed to get a call from a specialist yesterday.Talked to 2 different VEC reps yesterday. The first VEC rep had a heavy foreign accent and I couldn’t understand her.I think she said my claim was suspended but the second worker said I had NO OUTSTANDING ISSUES AND THERE WAS NO REASON I SHOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN PAID. Both said that a specialist would be calling me to discuss my claim.
