Verizon Finalizes $4.8 Billion Yahoo Deal

@digitaldew Even if Verizon kills yahoo in the next 10 years, they will more than likely gain enough exposure to gain enough new customers to cover their costs on this deal before they finally offload Yahoo for 100m lol.. That's the beautiful thing about recurring services that people can't live without.

@digitaldew Anyone else have a problem with an isp providing content? Not just in terms of monopoly rules but in terms of practical business.

You see it pretty often companies try to move up or down in the high tech market and it doesn't usually workout. Google trying to be social, Facebook trying to be an isp, and t-mobile trying to sell apps.

I just wonder when kinda legal and business trouble they can get into with a deal like this.
