UPDATE on Burnt 91' 4Runner, offered 5.2K for her

@dustoff What kind of stuff did you spend the extra $3k on? If it was after market add ons like a new stereo or something similar, you may be able to get some extra for it. But if it was more ‘general maintenance’ type stuff, you’re probably SOL. A vehicle that old would be expected to have needed a lot of those repairs at some point.

But honestly? $5k is pretty good for a car that old.
 
@dustoff You aren't entitled to extra money b/c of labor hours spent on repairs/upgrades to the car. Were those repairs, or were those installing some custom parts/mods?

Beyond that, I can't imagine the value of a '91 4Runner even being as high as $5200. Why exactly do you feel like they are low balling you? And remember....what you paid for the car is irrelevant. You may have overpaid. What you've spent on repairs is irrelevant. All that matters is the current car value if you were buying/selling it.
