@clairbear42 Going to need your serial number of the old phones… anyone know how the heck to find this when I’ve since sold off or thrown in the garbage my old iPhones?

Edit: tip from posters below is to search your email for old service contract if you did a financed phone the serial number will be in the contract

@leadmetotherightpath I just saved a phone call to my carrier thanks to this tip. Was in the email when I purchased my phone through the carrier. Back then they used to have it in plain sight in the email. For my iphone 12 and onwards, only last 4 digits.

@leadmetotherightpath Yup did the same thanks to you and another posted. Just search iPhone serial and boom you’ll find your emailed contract

@abooth81 Hit settings, then click your name and scroll down. You’ll get a list of all the Apple phones associated with your Apple ID and each will have the serial number in there.

@thisgirl If you sold or gave away your old iPhone, you'd have to remove it from that exact list before doing so.

@abooth81 If you still have it connected to your Apple ID you might be able to check from your current iPhone in the iCloud settings, that how I found mine.
