The "PFC Bubble" = Some facts on the demographics of Reddit Users in Canada

@zelisky
if you're wealthy, or struggling, you're well represented

The big thing I've noticed on this sub, compared to what I see in "the real world" is a large amount of people who have a fair amount of wealth and very little experience talking to those who don't have wealth and conversely those who don't have much wealth and little experience with those who do.

Maybe it's because Calgary is a less segregated city than some of the other large cities in Canada.

@mormarw That's a good point. To add some data around that (using the same audience I profiled in the OP):
  • 48.8% of Reddit users are in Ontario (over-represent the Canadian population by 9%)
  • 13.7% are in BC (over-represent by 19%)
  • 11.4% are from AB (over-represent by 6%)
  • 10.4% are from QC (not surprisingly, given language, under-represent by 44%)
Slight over-representation from users in MB & SK and significantly under-presented by people in Atlantic provinces & the north.
