Some guy hit my parked car and now it's totaled

@christianperson I know it sucks badly. Now my credit score is ducked up and if I get a new car I've to pay higher interest rates. On top of that I've to pay the balance amount as well. Do you think small claims court would help me?

@bblack4jc Ignore the advice to sue for balance on the loan. It's horribly wrong advice

@bblack4jc It's really your only legal recourse if you don't have gap insurance and neither insurance company will cover the balance of the loan for you. It's worth a shot

Let this be a lesson in GAP insurance and why it’s important, the $10 a month a pay for it has been absolutely worth it for my car that I’m just now no longer underwater on (5 year term, I’m paying it off this August)
