Sending wire transfer to my parents (US > Korea)

I need to send 10k USD to my parents since they need to take care of some hospital bills.

I've done this wire transfer in the past using Schwab, but I don't know if there's a better way?

In any case, they're asking me if I want to send using USD or local currency... What should I pick? I picked USD last time, but wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do?

@bldssphn The answer in these threads is always WISE. It usually has the best rates.

@bldssphn You usually should do the currency exchange with Wise if you want to be cost efficient. That’s their biggest advantage.
