*SCAMMER ALERT!* Did I get Fooled or nearly Fooled? What should I do?

@dk63 Btw government agencies generally won’t leave automated messages when they call in. If there is one you can pretty much be sure it’s actually a scam. They’ll also come up as a private caller or no caller ID so if there’s just a mobile number or something it’s also almost always a scam

If in doubt though just request a reference number and say you’ll call whatever agency it is on the publicly available number and don’t provide any personal info.

@dk63 I've stopped answering calls from unsaved numbers. I figured they would leave a message or text if they need me. Enabled a spam number blocking system too.

Luckily I receive anti phishing training but I really do feel for those who don't or are the elderly!
