Roth IRA

Aslam Alikum I’m 20 and I wanted to ask what is the best brokerage company to open a Roth ira. I prefer one where I can just let my money sit without having to do much. From looking at other Reddit posts many people were saying Fidelity. Any tips/advice will be appreciated.

@sbmor777 Would u say it’s easy to use for a new investor. I currently use Robinhood for my regular investing and recently downloaded Wahed but I’m not sure which one is the best for Roth ira and from google searches fidelity and vanguard was mentioned

@counselorwriterdad I use Fidelity, more modern UI and insights. If you want access to Crypto ETF, you can get that at Fidelity but not vanguard.

Overall, vanguard and fidelity are all good.

@counselorwriterdad There are several sharia-compliant mutual funds and ETFs you can invest in.

ETFs I know of are HLAL, SPUS, SPSK, SPRE

For mutual funds, look for Amana funds.

@counselorwriterdad I assume so. I can access them all for my Roth IRA with Vanguard and like the other user said Vanguard and Fidelity are comparable, both good.

@counselorwriterdad It's pretty easy for a new investor I'd say. I also have access to all sharia-compliant ETFs and mutual funds I know but based on discussion I've seen on this sub I think fidelity does too.
