Problem with linking EQ bank as my third bank to my Tangerine account

I am trying to add EQ bank to my linked accounts on Tangerine and cannot. I call the tangerine support line and a customer service representative first was telling me that is because I canceled my tangerine credit card before (one year ago). After that she told me I need to sent a paper mail void cheque to tangerine to link my EQ bank account. Anyone was successful in adding EQ bank ?

please see the error message I am getting.

I have tangerine linked on the EQ side but I would like to have an option of pushing money from tangerine side to avoid five days hold.

@bluesky95 I just e-transfer to myself but depends how much you're trying to move I guess.

Not sure why you're downvoting me. It allows you to by pass the hold. E-transfer funds are available right away.

@bluesky95 Have you tried from EQ to Tangerine, and then initiating transfers from EQ to/from Tangerine chequing account.

@hundreddays I want to be able to push from tangerine to EQ. I can pull from EQ but then money will be on hold for 5-6 business days. You can’t even open GIC with those money.

@summerlemon Sorry no solution. I did not transfer money to EQ, instead I transferred to Motive.
