@dcjazz Most states do not allow for punitive damages, at least for the insurance company to pay. The insured yes, but if he or she has nothing, good luck with that.
@karenrose3388 Shaddup. Shaddup. A drunk driver by policy contract is not a covered insured. They probably committed enough other infractions that would be covered for negligence. But the more everyone harps on the dui the more likely the carrier tries to disclaim
