Out of 7, 3 of Oracle Investment Research's picks are in mining and 1 in O&G. The reasoning seems solid, but is it just speculation?

I know predictions are typically wrong, but I can't help but think that if they believe that 3 mining stocks are to be huge performers, it might be a good year to pick up a mining ETF or something...

Some people are starting to think that there could be a commodities run as investment banks stockpile resources.

@resjudicata I saw this article too after reading the one I posted. I would expect this new SEC 'ruling' to greatly increase the price of copper which should subsequently increase value for copper mining.

that's a lot of "shoulds" though...

@louelie The ruling suggest that, yes. However, supply of copper greatly exceeds demand, which is why stockpiling is good. Higher copper prices keep copper mines from shutting down, which is good too. So if stockpiling>excess supply then we will see prices rise. If stockpiling
