@ctctw7 My dad made us stuffed sheep's hearts, steak and kidney pie, tripe and tomato pie in the past. Also fried liver and bacon is delicious, as well as chicken livers fried with mushrooms in a cream sauce (which you could switch out for white sauce as it may be cheaper, and add onions for more flavour).

Tomato pie may be in the Edmonds cookbook, it's basically tomatoes and onions layered in white bread like a lasagna and it's delicious.
 
@ctctw7 If you ever see venison liver…it’s a must-eat, one of the tastiest things ever. If I recall right, you slice it, boil it for a bit, then fry it. Delissimo! 👌
