I was going to hold like a random draw for something cool as an anniversary event, but completely locked up on what "something cool" would be.

Then, how to even do that?

So I gave up. Anyone know how to do raffles or whatever through a mailing list? It seems more complicated than it should be.

@lilbithmb Just copy paste your subscriber base on an excel sheet, so each email address corresponds to one number. Then use randomizer.org to pick winners.

@lilbithmb You can upload the sheet to Google Drive and just send a view access via email, so people know what number they’re assigned to.

@esther_goldworth That might be a security risk though in terms of making the email addresses public.

@pentecostal1ness You don’t need naman to publish the entire email address. You can also create a Google Form where people can opt in so you’re sure that they want to join the raffle.

@pentecostal1ness That's my main concern, since I've always been REALLY militant about not doing a single thing with the email addresses that isn't directly related to sending out daily update emails.
