Insurance broker (RIBO) worth it?

Hi everyone, I’m new to the country and was considering getting a RIBO. Isn’t worth it as a side job? I have a full time job at the moment but I’m exploring ways to make more money. Do you think it’s a better idea than real estate? And is it rewarding financially on the short and long terms?

@kaitlynn Well, you can take exam without having a job but to be registered, you need to be sponsored by a company. You can't work without having the license registered. So you can't just.... be a broker on your own. You may be able to find a part time job but in this industry that's extremely rare. It's not something you can just do on weekends. It's a classic Mon-Fri 9 to 5 job unless you're in a call center.
