@resjudicata As long as walang kasama na VUL. As in HMO lang talaga. Try Eastwest Ageas. I pay 10k annually. It's a term insurance, 10 years. They call it Prime Umbrella. 18-35 years old. My main insurance is BPI AIA since main bank ko din BPI. Back up insurance ko lang itong EW Ageas.

@resjudicata Ideally you will need insurances for each situation in the early years of your career.

Health , Income protection and Life.

From those 3 mainly if we have a normal pace of life Health talaga ang unang pag gagamitan natin ng insurance then for income protection last is life in case we pass away.

This is just a guide for you sa pagpili and in the end your insurance will be based on what you want to cover, earnings, mortgage, expense, health and age.

@resjudicata I always suggest getting a health insurance first. Una, very affordable pa habang bata while still healthy. Second, pinakamabilis din siyang tumaas ang premium compared to other insurances, unlike life or accident insurance na di gaano kalaki oagtaas habang tumatanda.

Maganda magcompare compare ka muna ng coverage and price, personally I got my health insurance from AIA, Critical Protect 100 ang pangalan. Covered ako ng 100 minor and major critical illness up to age 100.

@resjudicata Health insurance since this is for you. Ikaw makikinabang once you incur critical illness. Get life insurance kapag may umaasa sa income mo. Check mo yung top performing insurance companies then hingi ka quotations ng health insurance from each of them for comparison. For Sun Life, Id recommend Fit and Well. Life & health insurance na yan whichever need comes earlier (death/critical illness) until age 100. Covers 100+ critical illness, specific cancer conditions plus you may advance 5% of the face amount at age 65 for 8 consecutive years so in a way may pension ka. This is not VUL.

@resjudicata Hi I'm doc Ai from Sun Life and for starters I would highly recommend TERM HEALTH INSURANCE LIKE SUN LIFE ASSURE. Usually for 1M coverage more or less 12k annual depending on age upon application.

@resjudicata Paki define yung "nagsisimula"

Like fresh grad who just got a work?

Usually kumuha ng insurance if you have something to protect. For example, breadwinner ka na may umaasa sa income mo.

Definitely, highly recommended kumuha ka ng life insurance.

Pero if wala naman. Okay na muna for now yung mga benefits na meron ka sa company mo (kung meron man).

Kung wala, the most I can suggest is get yourself an HMO.

Yung life insurance, tsaka mo na kunin. It's snice to have but something you can live without.

@resjudicata If you're starting out at wala naman dependent tapos may benefits ka naman sa current company, like HMO.

Ipunin mo muna then review after a year. May nagbago ba sa lifestyle? If yes, ano. Then assess if need na kumuha ng life insurance.

If walang benefits ang company, the important thing that you should get is HMO.
