I’m trying to E-transfer myself money to EQ bank from Scotiabank

EQ is not on the quick list of banks so I have to add it manually but it also wants a Credit Union. What Credit Union do I choose for EQ? I have very little knowledge on what a Credit Union really is so I apologize if this is a dumb question.

@rebekka97 There should be any credit union option. If you use the search bar to search more banks in the bank selection screen you should see EQ come up

@shekinah1978 Thank you. That was exactly my dumb issue. The list was loading and I had scrolled down before the search bar came up. Didn’t even know you could search. Uuhhg

@rebekka97 Link the accounts on EQ and pull the funds via EQ. Don't bother with etransfer.

@daisies24 Any directions on how to pull the funds? I am not sure why i cant find the setting after linking the account

@rebekka97 Never had this issue before. I send money to myself and pick EQ bank then it just redirects me to EQ login.

Oh I assumed you were sending e-interac. Sorry I have no idea for the other option since I use RBC.

@jimmatt Weird! Ok I also have an RBC account so I could try to change things around twice (Scotia->RBC->EQ)

@rebekka97 I don't think that should matter though. I just did this and all I had to do was look up Eq, clicked it and then got redirected to their Login
