@resjudicata You seem to have a limited vocabulary concerning the f-bombs. Let me enhance it. The word "theft" and "stealing" needs to be firmly inserted. Yes, not paying for goods is theft and stealing.
@chris73 I didn't say anything about theft and stealing. My point was poor people or middle class aren't destroying the economy. The ultra wealthy and corporations are. If you really think that, I suggest you educate yourself on finance and economics a bit more.

@bjk Leon's severely overcharges anyways. That $2500 couch was probably selling for $700 at local furniture retailers. They can probably keep hounding him but it should be off the credit report soon.
@despondent From the article, I understand that there is more downside to keeping the debt than to pay it off if you would like to set yourself free or it can come back at any point.
@childofgod001 I agree. But financing us always thru another bank or lending agency.... like Flexiti..... CIBC or TD... etc. Leon's doesn't deal with financing directly.
