My wife and I (both healthy, only go in-network for services) just had a baby and are looking for some insight on what insurance plan to go with. We've been on the HDHP option for the past year or so. High-level plan details below as well as links to the full summary of benefits.

PPO:
HDHP (w/ HSA):
  • Premium: $453/month
  • Deductible: $2800
  • Co-pay: 20% (after deductible)
  • Co-insurance: 20% (after deductible)
  • Employer HSA Contribution: $41.66/month
  • OOP Max: $4500
  • Full summary of benefits
Happy to answer any questions or dig up any more info. Appreciate the help!

@antediluvian My broken-record default is to encourage people with choices to compute your total cost of coverage for each option, & compare. Here's an illustration of the basic comparison items.

You may also want to look at your options for "dividing & conquering" - you're under no obligation to enroll all in your family in your employer-sponsored plan. Depending on your ages, options offered in your area, & contribution requirements for your employer-sponsored options, you may win by covering just you - or maybe you & baby - on one of your employer-sponsored plans, with spouse (and/or child) on a marketplace plan
