Has a Parent had a diagnosis ofangina/heart issue before 65?

Recently got asked the above question. when taking out insurance.

My deceased father died of Heart related issue and had angina due to unhealthy lifestyle. I don’t know if his diagnoses was before 65 or not.

How likely are insurance companies going to find and use this information if I get squashed by a meteorite or something else unrelated?

I’m in the U.K.

@rocky1974 Sometimes your family history is noted in your medical records. I would be completely honest with the company and tell them exactly above. “Father had heart issues due to an unhealthy lifestyle. Unsure when diagnosis or cause of death”
