@christ80 I have 3 pieces of furniture in my home that were dumpster dives. Not ashamed!

@resjudicata I wouldn't even say I'm in poverty these days, but I'm definitely not too good to take stuff I find on the street at trash day. Recent finds include a steel top kitchen cart that needed minor fixing, yard cart that just needed new wheels ($16 at Harbor Freight) and a shovel with a mildly rusty blade.

@resjudicata Dude I'm with you I just found a used one of these https://www.amazon.com/Shur-Line-6572L-Adjustable-Extension-4-Feet/dp/B00192AAC6 I was planning on buying one for dumpster diving. Saved me money. I can't wait to get a truck so I can go scrapping and dumpster diving.

@resjudicata Pretty much all my furniture for 4-5 years was from diving. I’ve still got a decent amount of it hanging around, still good enough I haven’t felt a need to replace it. People throw some crazy shit away.
