got a random bank giro transfer of 68.20 from ScotCo R (i’m guessing R means restaurants)

what should i do? i’m not planning to spend the money after looking at other advice and will be calling my bank in the morning about it.

from looking, they own kfc and i have never worked at a kfc in my life, possible accident or could it be a scam?

@papabigpaws seems to be a code used by https://www.scottandco.uk.com/ the R is refunds, probably overpaid your council tax arrears or something similar

@katew only issue is that i don’t and have never lived in scotland, always lived in the south of england

@papabigpaws could be their parent company, they are now owned by Marsten's group/Marsten's Holdings/Marsten Recovery, can't help you there as I've never heard of them.
