I'm currently overseas studying for this semester and Geico won't return almost the whole amount that I paid this January. I literally used it for the first 10 days and won't come back to the U.S. til July or August. Since we pay for six months at a time, my total came close to ~$1100. They told me that they will change my status to away at school and return ~$350.
My question is why are they returning only ~$350 when I only used it for 10 to 12 days and won't be using it until the new six month coverage starts in July?
I would think that I should be getting most of it returned since I won't be here to use it. It would be a waste of ~$1100 when I only used it for 10 to 12 days.
Lets just say the coverage dates go like this:
1/5/2017-6/5/2017 7/5/2017-12/5/2018
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
