Does Insurance Give You A Check For Damages Made To Car First And Then Theyll Give you another One For Pain & Suffering?

Im Currently Going thru an accident lawsuit where i got rear ended Injust got called from the other party's insurance and theyll give me a check for my car but i was wondering does that check differ from the Lawsuit? What should i do Cause i dont wanna take money from them when i have a lawyer taking care of everything?

@pat123456 Yes, the physical damage to your vehicle is handled separately from any bodily injuries. Many carriers have separate adjusters handling the separate aspects of your single claim.

@pat123456 Pain and suffering is under bodily injury and vehicle damages is under property damage, two separate coverages two separate adjusters, two separate payments
