Comparing gas and electricity suppliers - Comparison?

I know bonkers etc.. but is there any website that clearly shows the true cost of energy from each supplier in a clear breakdown so that we can calculate what the best deal actually is.

I.E. for gas/electricity - standard charge = €1.00 a day and 1 kWh= 0.38€ or whatever in a clear table so that it can be easily worked out?

@twerne Cheers, this looks like a lot of reading for tomorrow. Never heard of Water Power and not sure what BWG stands for in Flogas BWG but thanks will read this tomorrow morning.

@flnurse Go to the last page of the thread to figure out what are the best deals at the moment. Flogas BWG was an offer they had running a couple months ago. It was a very good rate.

@twerne It was a good thread for off-book rates (Flogas company rates and WaterPower Variable rates) but there are no off-book rates now. So the thread is full of renewal offers that people are getting from their existing provider especially when they hold out. I.e. no special offers in that thread anymore.
