I just got a call from CDLE. Apparently, it's gonna be a "4-6 MONTH wait".
This was told to me in such a dry manner. The woman on the phone said "She can't lie to people anymore and that's what she's been hearing around the office.
Add to that, it seems that there's a special team formed for these ID.Me issues and the regular folks have no way to speak to them. I don't know what to say...
She said there's nothing she can do and that I'm on my own until one magical day in the future, something falls into my account.
I've already mentally prepared for a rough return to the workforce, but this is insane. Likely I'm going to get evicted, so I'm not going to tell my landlord and just plan my move from now. I'm just going to find the closest thing I can and get back to work...
