Broken ribs

Hi all: I broke two ribs on an amusement park ride last week. I believe it was faulty design of the ride restraints, combined with negligent operation and/or supervision which led to the injuries. In a fair amount of pain, although not life threatening. Worth filing a general liability claim for medical costs and pain/suffering? Haven’t checked the ticket purchase contract yet, but I’m sure I had to sign my life away…wondering if any are knowledgeable in this area (GL Claims). Thank you in advance.

@resjudicata Honestly, you’re likely best off at least consulting with a personal injury attorney to see what your chances are. You don’t have to hire them, but you would know where you stand. Different states/provinces treat this differently and there are a whole lot of unknowns here.
