Best broker for long term investment?

What brokers do you guys recommend for a person who only buys some stocks/etf once o month (500-1000 CHF)? I currently have a Swissquote account, but I have a feeling that the monthly maintence costs are too high. Maybe i am wrong and swiss quote has fair conditions? What do you guys think?

I feel like this is not as good a broker as people here lead to assume.

@virtualhope Yeah my problem is that it ignores other big player like trading 212, yuh and the DEGIRO etf selection. I feel like the mustachian is biased towards ib

@gary987 degiro is best, I when above 5k, some.are not available in degiro, or vice versa. do both.

@2people1marriage For monthly small saving plans in ETFs I use Degiro with it‘s low trading fees.

Rest Swissquote for larger irregular investments
