Anyone received BSBD notification from Canara Bank ?

Hello,

Today I received a notification from Canara Bank saying “Dear Customer, You are maintaining both BSBD and other general Saving Bank accounts in our Bank which is not permitted as per the prevailing guidelines. Please contact your branch immediately to submit your option for closing one of the accounts. - Canara Bank”

When I was student I had a student account at one of the canara bank branch near to the college.

It has been more than 10 years, I have not operated the account and by now it should be a dormant (Inactive) account. I have another general savings account which is active and linked to UPI.

What will happen next ? Will they close BSBD account OR active general savings account ?

I have reached out to them via an email and waiting for their response.

Did anyone receive this notification ? What was your plan of action ?
