Annual Leave payout on resigning (in job less than 12 months)

Kia ora, looking for advice on annual leave as I'm not sure If I interpret things correctly on various websites.

Let's say I have worked in a company for 8 months, and in that time I took 3 days of annual leave in advance.

When I resign, do I get a payout of (8 months x 8%) minus the (daily pay x 3 days)?

@sobbret Thanks to clarify, does “minus three days in advance” mean minus the pay I got for those 3 paid days off? E.g. say I got paid $1000 for those three days off, so my total pay out is 8 months x 8% minus $1000?

@mjgh06 You will not be paid out for those days that you have already been paid out for...
