@homeowner Yep. Thought it’d be an interesting anecdote to share. Three months ago we were reading about reduced demand. It’s just not what happened on the day. Today was crickets in comparison. There was obviously enough vendor power to force the price a further 80k.

@kezia Similar here, unit in our complex on Gold Coast sold for $900K six months a ago, similar unit sold this month for $1.1M, a rise of 22% in 6 months, go figure, anecdotal of course.

@resjudicata Corelogic has had Brisbane and GC as the fastest dropping market for at least a couple of months now

@resjudicata Probably from all the Melbournites and Sydneyites heading north.

Rents have gone crazy up here too.
